Farming since 1978, USDA Certified Organic from 1997 to 2013, we’re a small family farm high in the mountains of Madison County, NC. At this stage in our farming lives, we’ve elected to opt out of organic certification. We’re dedicated to organic farming, and use only inputs approved by the National Organic Program. Our address is Marshall,NC but our location is 3 miles as the crow flies from the I-26 Tennessee line in the Big Laurel section of Madison County.

We grow five acres of vegetables,herbs,flowers,small fruits. We also grow Fraser Fir trees for Christmas wreaths and other greenery items. We market some of our vegetables to an Asheville food coop, and are very excited to be part of the Jonesborough Farmers Market and the Boone Street Market, both as vendors and customers of our fellow farmers!

In mid-November we bid a fond farewell to all the fresh vegetables of the season, trade our vegetable-growing caps for Christmas hats, and re-organize for Christmas wreath and greenery making. We welcome visitors any time of year, just please call first to arrange a time to come on out.
