A traditional and delicious dip, guacamole is also served as a side with various meals.
Serves: Varies greatly
2 ripe avocados
1/2 cup chopped onion
3-4 hot green chiles ( Jalapeno, Serrano)
1 tomato, chopped
1/2 tsp lime or lemon juice
1/4 tsp garlic powder
Step by Step Instructions
- Scoop avocados and discard nut, then seed, stem and chop chiles. Combine all ingredients either by hand for guacamole cruda, or in a blender for pureed. Cover and chill 1 hour.
