Welcome new vendor: MOI Labs – green technology cleaning products

UTExtension will have food samples and give aways, don’t forget to pick up the latest recipe card

PLANTS
Perry Phillips – flowers, butterfly bushes, knockout rose bushes.

Local food is fresh food. If you’re buying at a Farmers Market, the produce has often been picked that morning.

Last day of National Farmers Market Week, come on out and see what we have going on. Did you know that shopping at Farmers Markets puts money right in you neighbors hands, which directly improves your local economy.

UTExtension: don’t forget to get your recipe cards, this week will be a cucumber recipe and blueberry smoothies. Samples and give aways!

Celebrate with grilling some of our fine meats. We have pork, chicken, lamb and beef.

We have added an additional beef vendor, Arkangle, she will have steaks, roasts and ground beef.

Local Food Survey


In an effort to learn more about our region’s local food economy, the Appalachian RC&D Council is conducting a survey on residents of Northeast TN and Southwest VA. The ARC&D is currently working on a USDA Local Food Promotion Program grant and data collected from the survey will help inform their efforts. The survey should take between 5-10 minutes to complete.
