Saturday Market June 27th


Happening at the market this week:
Starting about 9:30 a.m.
Kid’s Day – we will be making ice cream!

AND Doctor Dilly Dally – making balloon animals, juggling and other nonsense, at 10 am

Canning season is right on our heels, so is your pressure cooker ready? Bring your pressure canner lid to the market on June 27th to have it checked out and tested for FREE! Elizabeth Elizondo from UT Extension will be there along with some food preservation information.

Tickets on sale Saturday for 2015 Farm to Table


The 5th Annual Farm to Table Fundraising dinner will take place Saturday, August 22nd.

Public ticket sale will begin at the Farmers Market this Saturday starting at 8am. A line usually forms early!

Tickets are $75 each—cash/check preferred (and quicker) but credit/debit also accepted.

In addition to tickets, we will be offering discount ‘Friends of Locally Grown’ memberships tomorrow…details on that at the market!

The alpaca petting farm will not be at the market this week, they will visit the market later in the season.

And second, the Master Gardener’s Club will be with us and offering soil sampling kits and literature from the UT Extension office.
