Greetings market friends!
There are no less than THREE ways to learn more and/or show your support for the local food cause on MONDAY EVENING…all FREE, and you’ll find a familiar market face at all!
1) Presentation on safe growing practices for local growers. Monday 6pm, Slater Center Bristol. No fee, but please RSVP to Tamara McNaughton tmcnaughton@asdevelop.org so you can get the materials. Jack (Ziegenwald Dairy) will be attending.
2) GMO OMG film screening—Monday 7pm, ETSU Culp Center Auditorium. Reception to follow, catered by Earth Fare. Heidi will be here!
3) Jonesborough Farmers Market proposal for store on Boone Street will be considered for approval by the Jonesborough Board of Mayor and Alderman. Monday 7pm, Jonesborough Town Hall. Supporters of the store idea are invited to fill the seats with Karen, Curtis, & Debbie. Questions? Call Karen 753-4744.
