Jonesborough Saturday Market 5/17

We are all looking forward to a nice spring day at the market.

There will be plenty of produce, meats, breads and baked goods, goat cheese and tamales. Also we have a great variety of plants and herbs for your spring planting.

The craft area will include Earth Thyme, Heavy Metal Milkman and Pottery by Tim Roberts.

Music by Ed Snodderly.

Donation request: do you have white plastic grocery bags? We are gathering our supplies for the July 4th float and are in need of white bags. You may drop them off at the information booth on Saturdays for the next few weeks. We thank you.

See you at the market.

Jonesborough Saturday Market

Come rain or shine the market will be the place to be.

Produce is starting to come in, we will have lettuce, kale, onions, radishes and more.

Dona Eva will be with us this week with tamales and salsa. Brew & Plow will be returning with eggs and honey.

Music by Lee and Emily Bidgood, grab a cup of East Tennessee coffee, a danish and enjoy the morning with us.

Saturday Market Opens

It is time to hit the street! After a long, cold winter the Saturday market opens tomorrow, May 3rd with a delightful forecast of sunny and 70 degrees.

We will have a full house with all your favorite farmers and vendors returning. We have your favorite meats and baked goods along with early greens and produce; kale, radishes, baby bok choi, mustard greens, onions, rhubarb, shitake mushrooms, watercress and more. And yes, we have eggs.

Come on out and see us, do some shopping, have a cup of coffee and listen to music by The Old Timers. East side of the courthouse, 800-noon.

Two new vendors this year; The Fig Lady and Dona Eva. Dona Eva will not be at our first market but will be with us starting May 10th.

Hope to see you all on the street.
