All invited Monday 2:45!

On Monday (8/4) at 2:45pm Congressman Phil Roe and State Director of USDA Rural Development Bobby Goode will be visiting Boone Street Market to officially present a $21,250 grant award. The grant will be used to purchase a walk-in cooler and other equipment for the store.

Please join us! A strong showing of market supporters would be a wonderful way to express our appreciation, and you will also see how progress on the building is coming!

If you think you can attend, can you let me know at the market in the morning, or by phone/email? RSVP not required, but will help my planning—

Thanks so much!

We will have local honey for sale, a good item to stock up on. One can never have too much honey.

And as always, lots of fresh produce, eggs, baked goods, meats, and cheese.

We will have a large variety of produce tomorrow so plan your weekly menu. Corn is hitting the market as well as beans, cucumbers, squash and more. McQueen Farm will have blackberries.

The Old Timers Band will be providing the music.

Don Burger, Dragonfly Cottage Pottery will have an interactive play with clay for adults and children along with his pottery for sale. Create something and Don will fire it for you.

We provide up to a $10 match for to encourage spending their limited food budget on the healthiest food possible—from our market! If you’d like to contribute to this cause—loose change, dollars or checks—we have a collection jar at the info booth. Donations can be tax-deductible too. Read more here: EBT Match Campaign
